Celebration in bloom

CAIRNS Floral Supplies will start celebrating Australian Flowers Week today by hosting a silk orchid plant arrangement workshop. Owner Kearley Dent said the week was designed to celebrate “everything we love about flowers”. The Australian Flowers Week website lists local activities. Cairns Floral Supplies is a sponsor and will be exhibiting at the World Flower Council International Summit during the week, with Cairns’ Ivy Florist owner Tijn Meulendijks also demonstrating at the event.
