The greybeard of the Snakes is back for another season in orange. Last campaign was one of his best in recent memory, which included calls up to the Australian Boomers and NBL All Australian side to tour China. For the Snakes, he averaged 12.6 points per game, his best in his previous seven seasons in orange, and has shown little sign of slowing down. Walker had his preseason stalled after the veteran forward underwent surgery on his ankle last month, with an expected return time between 6-8 weeks. The former Perth Wildcat should be set to come back into the squad for Round 2, if not soon after. Walker hit the three ball and grabbed heaps of rebounds last season in Western Australia and will be asked to do that again in Cairns. Hall is as smooth as they come. His left-handed jump shot is smooth, as is his ability to get to the basket and score in traffic. Of the three imports, Hall has the most upside but he is the least experience­d heading into the new season. With all rookies, inconsiste­nt performanc­es may come. 105k3 105kgg Brisbane Bullets, St Mary’s University, Logan QBL The last man signed for the 2018-19 season, the power forwardard returns to a club where he playeded at before stints in Townsville­ille and Brisbane. Glandular feverer hindered his most recent NBL seasonason with the Bullets but he went on to put up huge numbers in the QBL. The back-up point guardrd signinggni­ngmaymay have gone under the radardar in some spots but Kenny is arguablyua­bly the most important new inclusionc­lusion at the club. He will not averageera­ge 30 points and 10 assists a night but he will do his job — not turn the ball over, defend nd hard and hit open threes. es.
