FINALIST:

Cairns State High teacher Stephanie Furlong is a finalist in the Queensland College of Teachers Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award for 2018 to be announced on October 25.

AWARD:

Cairns artist Andrea Huelin is a finalist in Australia’s only national still life painting award, the Eutick Memorial Still Life Award. The award is celebrating its 12th consecutive year with first prize of $20,000. Works will go on show at Wollongong next month.
