“Jesse works full-time as well and has done a fantastic job getting this up and running.

“He’s been instrument­al in growing the sport, keeping it on track, doing the administra­tion, emailing everybody and running a Facebook page.

“The sport is continuing to grow. When it first started, they trained at Tobruk a couple of days a week. Now they train at Marlin Coast, Trinity High and Woree Pool.

“They have been divided into regions because they have such a big following and have had such success.”
