No cash for air squeeze

-

AN AIRLINE passenger in the UK has lost his fight for almost $17,500 compensation for “months of pain” caused after he was allegedly squashed by a 146kg man on a long flight.

Stephen Prosser, 51, claimed damages from the airline because the passenger forced him to sit “unnaturally”. But a judge said British Airways was not to blame.

Describing the passenger as being like the late New Zealand rugby giant Jonah Lomu, Mr Prosser – who is 1.6m and 62.5kg – said he was “pinned against the side of the cabin” from Bangkok to Heathrow.

He claimed for injuries and loss of earnings.
