JENNY Lewis-Jones not only loves Christmas, she loves creating what has become one of the best festive season shop windows in Far North Queensland.

For Ms Lewis-Jones Christmas was always a big deal growing up and she channels her mum’s love of Christmas when creating window decorations for her Redlynch business, Orangerie Patisserie.

“I love this time of the year. We have been here 10 years this year and I have always done the shop up for Christmas every year,” she said.

“It’s just breathtaking to see the kids’ faces, they love it. They come and stand at the front of the shop for ages just watching all the things go around and light up.”

Every year Ms Lewis-Jones adds to the offering, each Christmas the display at the shop really does get bigger and better.

“It’s just beautiful, I have not seen anything in Cairns like it as far as shops go.”

Ms Lewis-Jones said some people just came to look and were simply mesmerised by the display.
