Science group head

A FORMER accountant has been selected to head up a citizen science group that carries out health checks of the Great Barrier Reef. Reef Check Australia has appointed Joanne Needham as its new general manager. Ms Needham worked for more than a decade as a management accountant in the UK and Australia, and has a Bachelor of Marine Science Honours degree from University of Queensland.
