Duo on theft charge

CAIRNS Property Crime Unit officers charged a man and a woman from Bentley Park with the theft of a motorbike. Officers searched a Kenrik St home and arrested a 37-year-old man and 47-year-old Bentley Park woman. Police allegedly recovered a stolen Husqvarna motorcycle, which had been stolen from a Portsmith service station around 1.35pm on November 11. The motorbike was seized by police, the pair were both charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. They are scheduled to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on February 7.
