Drone leads to drug find
A NSW man accused of shooting down a real estate agent’s drone will face court after police searched his property and allegedly found almost 200 cannabis plants.
The real estate agent visited a property at Burrell Creek on the state’s Mid North Coast at 10.30am on Thursday to take aerial footage using the drone. But the 46-year-old occupant of the property shot the drone with a firearm, police said.
During a search of the property, police allegedly found 187 cannabis plants, 20kg of dried drug, and cash. They also allegedly found an unregistered .22 calibre rifle nearby.
