Sex tape scandal dogs NRL star Napa
NRL star Dylan Napa has become the latest big name rugby league player to find himself embroiled in a seedy off-field scandal.
A video appearing to show the new Canterbury Bulldogs recruit (pictured) having sex with a woman has emerged online in the latest in a long line of headaches for league bosses. The sex tape was filmed by an unknown third party also in the room.
In the video, a man believed to be Queensland representative Napa, 26, is shown on a bed with the woman.
She is lying on her stomach with her head facing away from the camera.
He appears to be naked but some of the video is obscured by two laughing-face emojis.
At the start of the video, Napa looks at the camera.
He leans in close to her face and appears to say: “Call me big Papi … call me Big Papa.”
The Bulldogs and the NRL are aware of the video.
“The club has today been made aware of alleged images surfacing on social media of a current player taken several years ago,” a Bulldogs statement said.
“The club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the matter. The club is not in a position to comment further.”
Napa signed a three-year deal with the Bulldogs before Christmas.
