FAR North Queenslanders have until Monday to lodge a submission on the Environmental Impact Statement for KUR-World. KUR-World is an integrated resort development proposed by Reever and Ocean Pty Ltd for the Myola Valley, near Kuranda. The $650 million project is to include a fivestar 200-room eco-resort, a fourstar 270-apartment hotel, 56 lifestyle villas, 286 premium villas, a tertiary education campus, a 12hole golf course, an adventure park, a rainforest education centre and a retail, commercial and dining precinct. Submissions need to be made via the Department of State Development and close at 5pm on Monday.
