PUPS RIDDLED WITH TICKS

TWO adult dogs and a litter of pups were seized riddled with ticks. “It was probably the worst tick case I’ve ever seen in my life,” RSPCA regional inspector Ben Newman said. “I don’t know how they were all still alive.” The White Rock yard the dogs were found in was overrun with ticks, the animals had never been treated and were just left to suffer. “I’ve never seen to many ticks in my life,” he said. At the time they were seized Mr Newman said all the dogs were in a lot of distress. They were treated by the RSPCA and made a full recovery. They have since all been rehomed.
