Sydney mum wins $107m

-

AN inner Sydney mother in her 40s has won a recordbreaking $107 million Powerball jackpot.

Hers was the only division one entry to match all seven winning numbers in Thursday night’s draw, the Lott said.

Due to the number of entries bought, the division one prize leapt to more than $107 million, the largest individual prize ever in Australian lotteries. When contacted, the healthcare professional initially thought she had won $107,000, the Lott said. The woman, who bought the entry at random the day before the draw, said she would not retire.
