Taskforce arrests

THE Greater Cairns Taskforce is making progress towards the reduction of crime in the Cairns region. Since the launch of the taskforce on January 5, 137 people have been charged with a total of 209 offences. One of the most recent arrests occurred on Thursday night, where a 46-yearold Cairns man was charged for uttering counterfeit money.
