Far North misses out

THE Far North has not received any new police officers despite the state’s ranks being bolstered by 78 men and women this week. Queensland Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington has slammed the State Government for not sending any new recruits to the region. “Premier Paslaszczuk and her embattled Police Minister Mark Ryan don’t have a plan to reduce crime in North Queensland,” she said.
