LEARN how to make a beautiful, handmade, hardcover book with Inkmasters Cairns. Bespoke books make a unique gift or a special journal, notebook or go-anywhere sketchbook. The multi-sectioned book will be hand-sewn, the spine lined and cased-in in age-old techniques and covered with a natural fabric of choice. For an individualised outcome we create our own book fabric and use beautiful decorative end pages and a ribbon divider. No experience in book binding required. February 2, 8.45am-4pm at #55 ArtSpace at 55 Greenslopes St Edge Hill. WHAT GEAR: Notebook and pencil, personal insect repellent. Sketchbook, pieces of special decorative papers or small artworks/fragments of artworks on paper that you would like to use (optional). Wear closed-in shoes.
