CHANCE TO REALLY ACT THE PART
IT’S your last chance to enrol your child in one of The Young Company Theatre’s Summer Drama Program school holiday workshops. Participating in TYC’s Summer Drama Programs lets participants make lots of new friends while also developing their acting techniques, self-confidence, problem solving abilities, communication and presentation skills. Through them, they can foster their individual creativity and performance resume. From January 21, kids aged 5-12 can take part in the Spoonful of Wonder, grabbing their best chimney sweep and pavement chalk for a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious journey with Mary Poppins. Meanwhile, 11-18 year-olds can participate in Reboot-I-Lization, delving deep into next level acting
skills and analysis in an original cyberpunk narrative. Through these programs, students can develop the essentials of stage performance through improvisation, role-play and characterisation activities. Spoonful of Wonder runs January 21-24, while Reboot-I-Lization runs January 21-25, 9am-3pm. Visit https:// www.theyoungcompany.com.au to book a spot and find out more.
