Serious after rescue

A 64-year-old man found on a walking track has been flown to Cairns Hospital in a serious condition. At 7.34pm on Thursday Queensland Fire and Emergency Service rescue teams, police and paramedics were called to the Crystal Cascades carpark on Redlynch Valley Intake Road after a man was reported missing. He was found on the Copperlode Dam walking track and taken to a point to be winched by the Rescue 510 helicopter.
