CASSOWARY Coast Regional Council is presenting an array of performances across May and June that are bound to offer something for everybody. Kicking off on May 12 – Are You Lonesome Tonight, features arias and songs by Puccini, Verdi, Slim Dusty, Troy Cassar-Daley and Dolly Parton to name just a few. This show celebrates all that opera and country music have in common and shares in the power of storytelling common themes of love, heartache and triumph in the face of adversity.
