Highway upgrades

ROAD works on the Kennedy Highway between Mareeba and Tolga will begin mid-May as part of a $37.5m road safety project. Temporary speed limit reductions will be put in place and lengthy traffic delays are expected. Works will take place between Vicary Street Mareeba and the start of the 80km/h zone at Tolga. Construction is expected to be complete by early 2022.
