Campaign promotes Atherton Tablelands as a nature lover’s paradise
A NEW tourism campaign spruiking nature’s playground to adventure seekers thinking about an Atherton Tablelands getaway has been a hit with Queensland holidaymakers.
Three weeks after the Touch the Top campaign went live it has exceeded industry engagement benchmarks.
The Tablelands Regional Council campaign in consultation with Tourism Tropical North and tourism business operators showcases nature and adventure experiences focusing on the southern Tablelands.
“We are thrilled with how the campaign has launched,” Mayor Rod Marti said.
“We are proud to be showcasing our wonderful region, supporting our local tourism operators, and we look forward to seeing what the remainder of the campaign generates.”
Queensland’s highest town, Ravenshoe, the Curtain Tree Fig, the Mt Hypipamee Crater, Millaa Milla falls, wildlife and Herberton walking trails feature in the campaign developed by destination marketing provider C7EVEN.
C7EVEN director Sara Crowe said she was proud to partner with Tablelands Regional Council, and to see the “extraordinary response”.
“We have unashamedly targeted audiences that present the best potential for travel outside of peak periods and yield for the region’s business and tourism operators with this campaign,” Ms Crowe said.
“And as the campaign grows, we are eager to continue the positive trajectory with an increased focus on local insights of the real, rich, and unique experiences the Tablelands has to offer.”
The Touch the Top digital campaign will be in the market until next month.
The recent launch is the first stage of a three-year campaign that will showcase operators and personalities from the Atherton Tablelands region.
