AN Innisfail employment agency has achieved the highest rating for its work in the local community.

The MAX Disability Employment Services team recently received a five-star rating from the Australian government for its work with people with a disability, injury or health conditions and its support for them as they look for work. The government’s DES star ratings measure how well providers are performing in placing participan­ts in sustainabl­e employment.

MAX Solutions managing director Deborah Homewood said the Innisfail site was achieving exceptiona­l results helping people with disabiliti­es move into work.

“Our highly skilled team in Innisfail is making a real difference to the lives of the people in the local area, who have a range of different circumstan­ces, background­s, and cultures,” Ms Homewood said.
