Team effort leads to a healthy victory

- Wellness Embodied – People Management Excellence award (sponsored by CBC Staff Selection)

SUZANNE Rath moved to Cairns just over four years ago to set up Wellness Embodied on her own and knowing few in the community.

In that short time, she has created a successful business that is now an award winner.

Wellness Embodied won the BEX People Management Excellence award (sponsored by CBC Staff Selection) which recognises a business or organisation that has a demonstrated track record of business management excellence.

“I was truly delighted to win this award,”

Ms Rath said. “I was also delighted to have a team table at the awards, which is amazing as without them none of this would be possible.”

Her vision as owner of a physiotherapy and allied health practice is to make Cairns the healthiest city in Australia.

Wellness Embodied offers physiotherapy for clients who have pain or dysfunction.

It specialises in treatment of headaches (including migraines), neural tissue pain (such as sciatica and other referred pains), and chronic pain syndromes (including whiplash and fibromyalgia).

It also has Cairns’ first CCMI clinic (a specialist clinic for concussion) and Cairns’ first Onero Bone Health classes for osteoporosis/ osteopenia.
