First across the line for customer service

- Duncan Powersports – Customer Service Excellence award/trade and retail (sponsored by Totally Workwear)

BEING nominated for the BEX Customer Service Award/Trade and Retail by a new happy customer was reward in itself for Duncan Powersports owner Troy Duncan, but to win the award was extra sweet.

“I didn’t think we would win because we had some very successful competitors in our category,” Mr Duncan said.

“I didn’t think we had a chance. But it was wonderful to win.”

Mr Duncan says he shares the award with his team, his wife, Melissa, as well as his customers. “Our customers share the same passion we do for all things powersports so it makes our job very enjoyable,” he said. “And without them we have no business.”

The award, sponsored by Totally Workwear, acknowledges a business that has a demonstrated track record of customer service in their field.

“I think the JCU BEX awards are a great way for customers to nominate a business that they have received great customer service from,” Mr Duncan said.

“The team at the Cairns Chamber of Commerce absolutely smashed the event. It was first-class. It was amazing from the start to the finish.”
