CITY FOLK DON’T KNOW

- Gerry Hilderson, Smithfield

THE only ones in Australia banging on about solar and wind power are the big city dwellers who are frightened they might have to

give up some of their luxuries and their investment in wind and solar.

You don’t see any solar farms and wind turbines near the big cities because it might spoil the views.

When the big city dwellers start firing back about solar and wind turbines damaging our countryside and you fire back with pictures of good farming land being taken by

solar farms and mountains with trees pushed over and big scars on them so they can build their wind turbines and wind turbine blades being buried by the 1000 because they can’t be recycled and we have yet to see how they are going to recycle solar panels, you do not hear a word from these big city dwellers
