Harrison won a Tony Award for his stage performance in the role of Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. He reprised the role in the 1964 film of the same name and won the Academy Award for Best Actor.
1910 MOMOFUKO ANDO Taiwanese-Japanese inventor
Ando is known as the inventor of instant noodles (ramen noodles) and the creator of the brands Top Ramen and Cup Noodles. He was said to have eaten instant ramen noodles until the day he died of heart failure in 2007.
1951 RODNEY HOGG Australian cricketer
Hogg played 38 Test matches and 71 ODIs for Australia between 1978 and 1985. He took a total of 123 Test wickets at an average of 28.47. Hogg is best remembered for taking 41 wickets in his first six tests during the 1978-79 Ashes.

Twins Charlie and Craig formed the band The Proclaimers in 1983. They came to attention with their 1987 single Letter from America. The 1988 single I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) topped charts in Australia, New Zealand and Iceland.

Long jumper Boegman represented Australia at three Olympic Games, three World
Indoor Championships and three Commonwealth Games. She was Australian Champion nine times. Boegman’s best jump was 6.87m.

Pratt became Australia’s top-ranked female player in January, 2001. She won her first WTA title at the Hyderabad Open and reached the third round of the Australian open in 2004. Pratt retired after the Australian Open in 2008.

Mendes’ performance in the 2001 film Training Day marked a turning point in her career and led to parts in the commercially successful films 2 Fast 2 Furious, Hitch, The Women and The Other Guys.
