WINNING SMILE FOR HOLLAND

- JACKIE EPSTEIN

ERIN Holland can’t think of a better horse to back than Zaaki in Saturday’s Seppelt Wines All-Star Mile.

The Cairns-born model and TV presenter met the Annabel Neasham-trained favourite ahead of the richest mile race in the world taking place at Flemington.

“He is absolutely stunning, such a good specimen,” Holland said.

“And I’m all about girl power. I love that he’s being ridden by Jamie Kah and Annabel is the trainer. As a woman in sport, I love supporting others and they’ve got high hopes for him in this race and I’m going to back him as well.”

As well as Holland’s support, Zaaki’s owner ambassador in the All Star Mile is Brisbane’s Nicholas Bouseka. He is one of 10 ambassadors chosen from 134,000 people who cast a vote to help determine the first 10 horses into the field. Owner ambassadors are in the running for a first prize of $250,000.
