‘They want kinky, they want feet’

How Far North entertainer is earning $1000 a week on growing adult content platform

KINKS, feet and niche content requests are all part of the service for Cairns OnlyFans star Ivy Rose. Saturation of the world’s leading subscription adult content platform has the successful Cairnsbased video and image maker offering inside tips to help the up-and-coming stand out from the crowd.

Ms Rose, who also works as a stripper, started her account using the handle @ivy-lee about a year ago and now pulls in about $1000 per week, supplementing her adult entertainment business Ivy’s Angels and work at the Cairns Tradies Bar.

She recently invested $15,000 on breast augmentation surgery to produce a GG cup size and her OnlyFans page has a healthy 7500 likes.

The self-described cheeky redhead said business had gone through the roof since her breast surgery.

But with so many people looking to make a quick buck she said creators needed to satisfy a niche to make decent cash on the platform. “It’s about being different,” she said. “You can go on porn sites and you can see just about anything, but they don’t just want to see that. The kind of thing they want to see is different, they want kinky, they want feet.

“I found that (the key) to making a lot of money is to do things that other people wouldn’t do or that you may not find easily on sites like PornHub.

“I think a lot of men love it that they know that they’re kind of supporting you and it’s going directly to you instead of it going to a site.”

Ms Rose said she charged $20 a month for a subscription and she sold videos on top; she also takes special requests from subscribers.

To earn about $4000 a month, Ms Rose said she posted daily photos and one video per week.

“And I’m always getting like messages and requests,” she said.

income for some, but I tend to do other stuff as well.”

Founded in 2016 by British tech entrepreneur and investor Timothy Stokely, OnlyFans last year had grown to have more than one million creators generating content to 85 million registered users.

OnlyFans offers two types of accounts – free pages, and paid subscription pages.

Creators with a free page charge fans to unlock posts and pay-per-view messages.

And creators with a paid subscription page generate revenue from subscriptions and payper-view messages.
