FROM volunteers to FNQ sports to new business owners, The Cairns Post has been compiling the most influential locals under 30 from different parts of our region every day this week.
Born and raised on the Cassowary Coast, Kitanna Geiger dreams of running away and joining the circus.
Kitanna found her passion and drive to train as an aerialist after her mum dragged her along to a class.
“I fell in love with it straight away,” she said. “I’ve been doing it for four years now and I’m hoping to head to Melbourne and audition for the National Institute of Circus Arts next year.”
Ms Geiger has taught at the Sundance Studio in Mission Beach while she waits for her opportunity.
