Taipans trio out

CAIRNS Taipans will be without star import guard Tahjere McCall for two important NBL clashes after he failed to overcome a hip injury.

McCall sustained the injury against the Phoenix last week and joins centre Stephen Zimmerman (knee) and Mirko Djeric (quad) on the sidelines.

Training player Ben Ayre is elevated to the roster for the first time this season.
