NO CAP ON KIDS’ MARKET

FROM mini-me fashion to gender neutral designs, kids’ fashion is big business.

The Australian market for kids’ clothing is expected to increase to $2.5bn by 2025, an industry report reveals.

The sector has an expected annual growth rate of 3.1 per cent for baby wear and 3.6 per cent for children’s wear, according to a report by market research company Euromonito­r Internatio­nal.

Retailers – from department stores to boutiques – are reaping the benefits.
