EASTER TREATS ARE A THING OF BEAUTY

THE team at Cairns Beauty Bar has come up with some appealing gift boxes for those in need this Easter.

Manager Heidi Healy said the business donated to a charity each month.

“The boxes went to families at Ruth’s Hub, to the FNQ Hospital Foundation and to families in need,” she said.

“I just feel like a lot of families have struggled this year, so it was a good time to do it.”

Other donations were made to the paediatric ward, where Mrs Healy’s daughter, Poppy, 1, was recently a patient.

Cairns Beauty Bar was launched last year when Allure Cosmetics, Lia Maree Cosmetic Tattoo, La Belle Lash and InShaype Face and Body got together under one banner in a new venture spearheaded by Mrs Healy.
