Croc closes beach

ETTY Bay, 15km south of Innisfail, was closed to the public following a crocodile sighting on Thursday morning. North Queensland lifeguard supervisor Jay March said a 2m crocodile was spotted in the protected swimming nets by a lifeguard reporting to his shift at 9am. The beach was open to the public on Friday.
