Far North Covid cases

ON Thursday, the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service reported there were 31 patients in Cairns Hospital with Covid, including four in intensive care, as well as seven in the rural hospital system, and 122 in virtual wards. There have been 54 deaths in the region. Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service reported that as of Wednesday, there were 173 active cases of Covid in the Torres and Cape region.
