Royal garden party

PARTY dresses, outrageous hats and smart suits will be in order for the Royal Garden Party at Adil Gardens in Mareeba on May 28. There will be a “royal figure” guest appearance at the fundraiser for Mareeba Animal Refuge starting at 10am. Organisers decided to honour the Queen’s Jubilee and celebrate her love of animals, although pets are not permitted at the event. The $30 ticket price includes morning tea. Three original paintings by Rose Knight will be auctioned.
