Bush rodeo action

CHILLAGOE Busman’s Carnival Association is holding the Chillagoe Rodeo on May 6 and 7, featuring the Fred Burdell ultimate cowboy challenge. There’s plenty for children with face painting, a jumping castle, a kids best dressed competition and lolly drop, plus a rodeo themed art competition. There will be live music with the Kurdaz Country band and the ExyGENs. Entry is $15 for seniors, $25 for adults and $10 for those aged 12 to 17 years. Meanwhile, the Biboorha Bull ride will be held on May 28, starting at 5pm at Simmo’s Arena at 163 Hume Rd.
