PREPPIES from schools as far afield as Weipa and Innisfail and right throughout Cairns will feature in our special My First Year publication in the Cairns Post on Wednesday.

Co-ordinating almost 100 prep classes and capturing the attention of lively preppies is an achievement for participating schools – preppies have busy lives as they delve into their first year at school.
Some schools have as many as five prep classes to juggle, others have just one or two preppies.
Prep provides the foundation of success at school, developing a positive approach to learning, independence and confidence, and creativity and problemsolving skills.
And there’s no doubt preppies bring sparkling energy with them in this formative first year at school.
We are looking forward to seeing all those bright faces in print on May 25.
