Ha Ha Hindmarsh night

-

Hindmarsh Shire Council has free tickets available for Saturday’s Ha Ha Hindmarsh Community Comedy night.

The event will include acclaimed comedy talent along with a reunion of some of the Wimmera’s leading musicians for the first time in more than 20 years.

Musicians Tim Mellington, Marty Lieschke, Rick Baulch and Jeff Woodward will play together again as Déjà Vu.

Vocalist and keyboard player Mellington said the group looked forward to the event at Nhill Memorial Community Centre.

“We are excited to be playing together again after all these years and hope this gig will be the first of many,” he said.

Funded by the Victorian Government’s Drought Response Program, the evening will feature comedian Tom Siegert ahead of his appearance at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and nationally acclaimed comedy duo Rusty and Another Guy. There will also be an opportunity for patrons to contribute to the evening’s fun.

Doors and bar open at 6.30pm, with comedy acts from 7.30pm and Déjà vu to perform from 10pm to midnight.

People can call the council on 5391 4444 or email nmcc@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au for more information.
