Tradition continues

Organisers of an annual Pomonal pancake day say the tradition continues to be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Pomonal Community Uniting Church hosted a ‘pancake day’ event at the town’s primary school for Shrove Tuesday.

Organiser Julie Andrews said the event was a great way to bring people together for pancakes and conversation while raising money for Wimmera Uniting Care.

“It’s never too late to enjoy a pancake – Stawell Uniting Church will host another pancake day on Thursday, March 30 from 10am,” she said.

“They hope people from far and wide will come to enjoy the day.”
