Expect the unexpected at Nitro show

-

ANitro Circus promotions insider has urged thousands of fans expected to attend the international action-sports show at Horsham City Oval on Sunday to ‘expect the unexpected’.

The show’s Australian and New Zealand marketing director Nathan Brown, while ‘keeping his cards close to his chest’, said fans would be in for something special.

“We don’t like to give too much away, simply because every show is different and each performance provides the athletes with an opportunity to create world firsts or something else unusual or spectacular,” he said.

“What we can say is that we’re bringing the full international act to the Wimmera on Easter Sunday and anyone at Horsham City Oval from 4pm won’t be disappointed.”

Mr Brown said the show’s daredevils, performing on motocross and BMK bikes and a variety of other contraptions, were constantly challenging themselves to perform the world’s biggest and most dangerous choreographed stunts.

“There have been Nitro Circus shows around the world where worldfirst stunts have unfolded before people’s eyes. So the message is don’t be surprised if something like this happens during the Horsham show,” he said.

Mr Brown said there were also many incredible world-first aerial stunts, only established at Nitro World Games last year that athletes would perform in Horsham.

“Horsham might well provide the setting for something quite unique,” he said.

The theatrical spectacular, most likely a one-off for Horsham, is part of Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus Regional Rampage tour.

It is also the last show in Victoria for 2017 and the last time western Victorians will have the event in their own back yard this year.

Mr Brown urged people across the Wimmera, Mallee and Grampians to make the most of a rare opportunity to experience an international showcase that has attracted sell-out crowds and a massive following around the world.

“These opportunities don’t come along to regional communities very often and why we’re delighted to make the effort to come here,” he said.

“We had had a lot of interest but still have a lot of great tickets available – from general admission to VIP passes – and we will be selling right up to show time on Sunday.”
