Ready for the hunt

Hordes of hungry children will converge on Horsham’s City Oval on Friday for a chance to get their hands on Easter treats.

The annual Good Friday Appeal Bendigo Bank Easter Egg Hunt has raised more than $25,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital in the past 11 years.

Activities include a jumping castle, face-painting and hand-ball, along with the main event, an Easter egg hunt.

Easter Bunny and the bank’s ‘Piggy’ are set to make an appearance. Raffle tickets will be available for $1. Major prizes include a dress ring and two tickets to Nitro Circus Live at Horsham City Oval on Sunday.

Tickets are available from the bank’s Horsham branch in Firebrace Street and on the day. Tea, coffee, hot cross buns and cool drinks will be available to buy.

Gates open at 10am, with the hunt at 11am.
