Cider session in Horsham

People who want to learn to make their own apple cider can pick up some handy tips at Horsham Showground.

Horsham Urban Landcare will host an apple cider making session on April 22 at 10am.

Organisers have invited people for a ‘fun morning of apple crushing in preparation for making cider’.

They said the family-friendly event was a great success last year, with participants learning about cider apples and the crushing and brewing processes.

Adults can sample the cider, while children can enjoy fresh apple juice straight from the press.

Numbers for the workshop, which costs $10 for adults, are limited.
