The State Government has allocated $142,000 to a solar engineering company to develop infrastructure to fast-track the rollout of largescale renewable energy projects in Victoria.

Company Clean Technology Partners is developing an ‘e-cube’ under the second round of the State Government’s $20-million New Energy Jobs Fund. The $570,000 project involves working with energy giant Siemens to develop a standardised grid connector to allow for quick and cost-efficient connections to Victoria’s power grid. The concept is based on the e-cube allowing solar and wind projects to easily connect to the distribution network and will suit a range of system sizes, connection types, and network requirements.
