Golfers made the most of fine winter conditions to play in Dimboola Golf Club’s annual tournament.
The tournament featured men’s and women’s four-ball and mixed threeperson ambrose events.
Tournament organisers reported entries were down on last year but were happy with the attendance.
Four-ball events attracted 42 players from Dimboola, Horsham, Nhill, Warracknabeal, Minyip, Drung, Birchip, Stawell, Natimuk, Halls Gap, Glenorchy and Toolondo clubs.
The ambrose competition featured 30 players from Dimboola, Nhill, Horsham, Brim, Murtoa, Grange, Kaniva and Halls Gap. Results – Four-ball-best-ball stableford: Women, Heather Richards and Jo Donnelly, Dimboola 39 points; r-up, Kneller Lehmann, Dimboola, and Marg Howison, Horsham 38 points; third, Venita Walder, Warracknabeal and Lyn Boyle, Birchip 37.
