Trip to Bri­tish Open on of­fer

Horsham Golf Club will of­fer a trip for two to next year’s Bri­tish Open for any­one who can hit a hole-in-one on the 15th hole dur­ing the Satur­day or Sun­day of the club’s an­nual tour­na­ment.

The prize in­cludes four nights deluxe ac­com­mo­da­tion, daily ground passes, five-day car rental and money to help fly the win­ner to Scot­land.

Lau­rie Good­son, who vis­ited the Horsham club last year, and New Zealand’s Fenix Cloth­ing are pro­vid­ing the prize.

The tour­na­ment will fea­ture shot­gun-start events for men and women and play on most days, ex­cept for all-day golf on Wed­nes­day and Satur­day, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

The tour­na­ment will start with men and women’s two-per­son am­brose events on the Mon­day and women’s four­somes and men’s four­ball best-ball sta­ble­ford on the Tuesday. Wed­nes­day will fea­ture a men and women’s sta­ble­ford, fol­lowed by a men and women’s four-ball sta­ble­ford ag­gre­gate on the Thurs­day.

Men and women’s four-ball par events will be on the Fri­day, and Satur­day will fea­ture men and women’s 36-hole stroke events. A mixed pine­hurst will be on the Sun­day.
