Coun­try mu­sic passes on sale

Fes­ti­val Passes for the 11th Horsham Coun­try Mu­sic Fes­ti­val are on sale at Horsham Vis­i­tor In­for­ma­tion Cen­tre.

Fes­ti­val co-or­di­na­tor Lyall Wheaton said the fes­ti­val tick­ets, which en­ti­tled pa­trons to at­tend all four days of the event, were $65, the same as last year.

“Four artists will be mak­ing their fes­ti­val de­but – John O’dea from Or­ro­roo in South Aus­tralia, along with Robyn Glee­son from War­rnam­bool, Yar­ra­wonga’s Norm Price and young­sters Lachie and Ge­orgie Mc­gen­nisken from Trar­al­gon,” he said.

The fes­ti­val is from March 22 to 25. Fes­ti­val pro­grams are also avail­able from the vis­i­tor cen­tre.

Mr Wheaton Lachie and said 11-yearold nine-year-old Ge­orgie would be the youngest artists to sing on the main stage in the fes­ti­val’s his­tory.

“Other favourites re­turn­ing are Kiara Ro­drigues and Laura Down­ing from Bris­bane, Don Costa from the Sun­shine Coast, Dwayne Elix from Syd­ney, Joy Adams from New Zealand and Vic­to­ri­ans Trevor Keilar and Justin Stan­d­ley,” he said.
