Fire burns out trucks

Po­lice are con­fi­dent there are no sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing a fire that gut­ted two trucks and dam­aged a third at a King Drive in­dus­trial prop­erty in Hor­sham on Mon­day night.

De­tec­tive Se­nior Con­sta­ble David Richard­son said while in­ves­ti­ga­tions had yet to de­ter­mine the cause of the fire, there was noth­ing to sug­gest any sin­is­ter in­tent.

Emer­gency ser­vices at­tended the blaze in the yard of KGL Car­ri­ers just af­ter 8pm and fire­fight­ers took about half an hour to bring the blaze un­der con­trol. The fire burnt out a car-car­ry­ing semi-trailer and a car-car­ry­ing tray truck and se­verely dam­aged an­other tray truck.

There was also mi­nor dam­age to a car­a­van in an ad­ja­cent prop­erty.
