Services on health website
Wimmera Health Care Group has updated its website to feature the range of services it offers.
The update comes in response to a communications survey that showed people wanted to know more about the services on offer.
Group communications officer Amelia Crafter said it was crucial for any organisation providing community services to get community feedback.
“We always had a services section on our website, and following the feedback we received, it is now a more extensive list,” she said.
“We have such a wide range of services and possibly a lot that people don’t know about, so we wanted to make sure that information was available.”
Mrs Crafter said the website, www.whcg.org. au had a ‘services’ section where people could find a list of 60 services.
“People can find out information about these services, such as how to contact them, a description of the service, if they are eligible and if there are any fees,” she said.
“We understand not everybody has access to the internet, so people can still call the hospital on 5381 9111 and be transferred to the service they require.”
The health group has also encouraged people who have internet access, and are on social media site Facebook, to ‘like’ the Wimmera Health Care Group Facebook page.
