Hor­sham per­form­ing-arts en­thu­si­ast Bec Wik, 22, is set to play the main role of ‘Peggy Sawyer’ in a Cen­trestage Gee­long pro­duc­tion of the mu­si­cal 42nd Street.

The fourth-year teach­ing stu­dent at Deakin Univer­sity will fea­ture in a se­ries of per­for­mances run­ning from Fri­day night un­til March 26 at Gee­long Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre.

Wik has been danc­ing and singing since she was a tod­dler and has per­formed in Hor­sham Arts Coun­cil pro­duc­tions. Cen­trestage Gee­long is an am­a­teur mu­si­cal the­atre com­pany.
