Connecting community expo

Ararat Neighbourhood House has invited community members and leaders to be part of a Celebrating Community Connectedness expo today.

The event is part of national Neighbourhood House Week, which started on Monday.

Ararat centre manager Louie Makin said the free-of-charge expo would run from 10am to 3pm at 56 Campbell Street.

This year, Neighbourhood House Week celebrates ‘Belonging: Neighbourhood Houses belong to the community, and in turn they offer the community a welcoming space where they can feel a part of something: a place to belong’.

Grampians Community Health chief executive Greg Little said he looked forward to being part of the Celebrating Community Connections event and hoped many others would join in the fun.
